There Is An Elephant In The Room!

Updated: 7 days ago

According to the National Library of Medicine, as edited by Robbie Ball, Sarah L. Jacobson, Matthew S. Rudolph, Miranda Trapani, and Joshua M. Plotnik, "Elephants are sensory seekers who use their olfactory and auditory systems to make forging and social decisions. According to the article, "Social decisions are very important, especially for us who deal with situational anxieties, invisible disabilities, and sensory health concerns." Anthropogenic disturbances can significantly affect elephants' ability to perceive sensory information and communicate with one another, potentially further endangering their survival. Similarly, those of us who face these special health needs and other conditions not yet listed experience anxieties that, when heightened during a crisis, can lead to outcomes that splinter; without support, this can create safety issues for everyone involved. This small reflection illustrates why A-NOD INC was created: to ensure that communication flows in a manner that proactively keeps all involved safe and supported, just as a herd of elephants.
