We had Esther from church from the 8 o’clock Mass come to our A-NOD Vendor Table, and she talked about her story over and talked about her story about how the police were called to her house because they had a gas leak that they’d never had before. It filled up the house. It was dead winter. It was very, very cold. The neighbor was also across the street, thank God, because that could’ve been very, very, very dangerous for all, including the cockatoo, and so they were able to go over to the neighbor's house. Well, after she dialed 911, the dispatcher came out and said, " Hey, you gotta get out of the house before it blows up, so then they had to wait for everybody to come and take care of the natural gas. We didn’t even know what the smell was because I had never dealt with that before, so again God was in the details because she was aware at least that something was going on. She found her cockatoos with their head under their wing, trying to protect themselves. Now that says a lot right there. OK, so that being said, a scary situation averted.——-A+ for Awareness!
