Hy-Vee on E. 25th and Euclid Smile In The Aisle.

In February 2025, A-NOD, Janice Biddle, and I met with Keath Anderson, the Manager of Hy-Vee, during the Cops Event. Thanks to Jeff Whitt, the Board President of the Fairmont Neighborhood Association, we scheduled a meeting at Hy-Vee in May to plan our A-NOD presence there on July 19, 2025. On that day, Paul, the Associate Manager of Hy-Vee, assisted us as we were positioned at a prominent front-door location. We engaged with fifteen individuals who contributed through donations, participated in the raffle, and supported our awareness and advocacy efforts. Thank you to Janice, Lisa, Robyn, and Dave, as well as Larry Sr, and the boys: Robert, Michael, James, and Larry Jr, for all the preparations and interactions before, during, and after the event.

From Larry Jr:

I helped by setting up the table, putting up the laptop and the monitor on the table, as well a the things we needed on the table. And then Robyn said we needed signs for the raffles, so Mom and I went to the crafts aisle and we got markers and tape, and then I started making the signs, and then because of this choice, someone bought 22 tickets and then they won the raffle.
