Happy New Year. Scammers are scamming regarding Google Businesses.

Towards the end of 2025, A-NOD started receiving phone calls from what seemed to be a local number, claiming to be representatives assisting businesses with visibility issues on the Google Business Portal. They said people couldn't find or review A-NOD because it "wasn't showing up" and asked for the owner's permission to discuss the business and make account changes. Recognizing their deceitful intentions, I always respond that the CEO of A-NOD is God whenever they request to speak with the owner. Often, they dismiss this as an invalid answer, but , God is entirely valid. Their disbelief and eventual frustration lead them to hang up, which is appropriate. They shouldn't be calling at all, as a legitimate representative from Google wouldn't contact A-NOD unless A-NOD initiated the conversation.

So what advocacy and support actions can our loved ones and businesses take for those who face anxiety, invisible disabilities, and sensory health issues to protect them from scammers? Today, I decided to consult ChatGPT and share its suggestions within my blog. Suggestions that have been given from others that share the same basic answer, to shut them up by shutting them down".
