A-NOD SPOTLIGHT - December 2024

A-NOD For Situational Awareness LLC and A-NOD INC

By Lawrence Evan Thacker Jr.  | Junior Staff Writer

My mother, Diane Thacker, was riding with us, my father, Larry Thacker Sr., and my other older brothers, Robert, Michael, and my twin brother James, to the Iowa State Fairgrounds in August of 2015 when we were rear-ended. My Father called the police for traffic help, and then he asked us if we were okay, especially because all of us deal with.something. And my Dad’s fears were also up because he saw that Robert was really upset, and Mom said he was terrified, which made things harder to deal with for all involved.

As the officer approached our vehicle, I heard and saw Robert scream at him, telling him to take him to jail right away. At this point, I was really scared.

Mom and Dad tried to reason with the officer, but he would not listen to what they were saying. After the stop, Mom and Dad spoke about how the cop did not hear or see us Finally He did say he had a niece like that. And that is why Mom and Dad have been working on A-NOD ever since.
